Regional Partners

There are three key regional bodies in the North West who support and inform the work of the Stockport Partnership:

• Government Office North West - represents Central Government in the region; it also feeds back the region's views to Whitehall
• North West Development Agency - responsible for the sustainable economic development and regeneration of the north west of England
• North West Regional Assembly - partnership that works to promote the economic, environmental and social well-being of the North West of England.

It shows Census and other national data together with local information like educational attainment, Housing Benefit take–up, and numbers of children in care.
