The Stockport Partnership aims to be an inclusive body with a wide membership, as well as providing leadership and a framework for a much wider 'family' of partnerships and partnership working.

The role of the partnership is to improve the quality of life for local people by setting out a long term vision for Stockport, promoting social, environmental and economic wellbeing, pinpointing problems, improving services and targeting resources to address local needs.

These aims are set out in more detail in Stockport’s Community Strategy a ten year strategic plan and community vision for the future of the Borough.
